UAE diplomat: Iran must rebuild trust after missile strike on US base
Diplomatic advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates Anwar Gargash has announced that following the recent missile strike on the US Al-Udeid military base in Qatar, Iran now confronts the difficult task of rebuilding trust with its Arab neighbours in the Persian Gulf region.
“Today, as we turn the page on this conflict, Tehran must rebuild the trust with its neighbors in the [Persian] Gulf that was severely damaged by this attack,” Caliber.Az reports, citing the advisor’s message on X.

He further noted that Gulf Arab states have maintained a firm opposition to war with Iran. Instead, they have actively sought to ease tensions on international stages and urged for diplomatic solutions to ongoing disputes - most notably those concerning Iran’s nuclear programme.
