Ukrainian leader discusses security cooperation with Jordan’s king
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Abdullah II, the king of Jordan, on March 29 to discuss prospects for security cooperation, as well as the situation in the Middle East and the Persian Gulf region.
Writing on Telegram, Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine is open to joint efforts to defend against missile and drone attacks.
“From our own experience, we know that without a unified system, it is impossible to fully protect people and critical infrastructure.
We have such a system, as for five years of full-scale war, we have been forced to withstand constant Russian strikes, including those using Iranian drones. It is very important that those to whom we offer our expertise can also help us strengthen our capabilities,” the president said.
