Ukraine starts receiving exclusive satellite data from GEOSAT 2

Ukraine has de facto become the owner of a multispectral optical satellite and receives exclusive satellite data from GEOSAT 2.

This is stated in the press release of EOS company, owned by businessman Max Polyakov, UNIAN reports.

GEOSAT2 has become the first satellite that already transmits operational surveillance data over the territory of Ukraine exclusively for use by the country. The satellite is orbiting and allows you to receive data with ultra-high resolution, previously unavailable for Ukraine.

It also provides an opportunity to take pictures in 100 kilometers from the state borders of Ukraine.

It is noted that the Ukrainian satellite "Sich-2-30", launched into orbit in January 2022, has a much lower resolution.
