UN to support designing two liberated villages in Azerbaijan

Two villages in Azerbaijan's liberated territories will be designed with the help of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat).

The chairman of the State Commission for Urban Planning and Architectural Design, Anar Guliyev, made the announcement, Report informs.

According to him, one of the villages to be designed is located in a mountainous area and the other in a plain area.

Guliyev stressed that UN-Habitat has initiated the development of international guidelines for smart cities. An expert group, including two Azerbaijani specialists, has been formed for this purpose.
