Karabakh University to launch Cisco Networking Academy
A Cisco Networking Academy is set to be established at Karabakh University starting this academic year as part of a collaboration between the Azerbaijani Ministry of Science and Education and Cisco.
“The academy, supported by the informatisation office of the education system of the Azerbaijani education ministry, aims to train local specialists in networking technologies. The Cisco Networking Academy will offer courses on IT fundamentals, operating systems, the Internet of Things, programming, networking technologies, network security, and cybersecurity,” the Azerbaijani Ministry of Science and Education said, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Courses will be taught by certified professionals following Cisco's curriculum. Students will have the opportunity to enhance their skills using both real and virtual systems in labs, and they will gain access to official certification resources. The training will also prepare students for international exams to achieve Cisco Certified Network Specialist status.
