US expresses concerns over Russia-China relations

US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan has said that the US is concerned about potential support from China for Russia's defence industry. 

Sullivan expressed this concern, stating, "We remain deeply worried about China's support for Russia's defence-industrial base and its impact on both European and transatlantic security," Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media. 

Sullivan also emphasised that during his visit to China, he "directly" raised a series of complex issues with the Chinese leadership.

He noted that the relationship between the two countries is going through a challenging period, for which he placed the responsibility squarely on Beijing.
