US keeps military option on table to deter Iran's nuclear weapon development

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has said that Washington continues to believe that the most effective way to deal with the international community’s concerns about Iran’s nuclear program is through diplomacy.

However, according to him, every option remains on the table to ensure that that doesn’t happen.

"Diplomacy is never off the table.  But President Biden has also made clear that we’re determined that Iran does not acquire a nuclear weapon, and every option remains on the table to ensure that that doesn’t happen.  But our preferred path would be diplomacy," Blinken said in an interview with Al Arabiya, adding military option is also not excluded.
