US pledges flexibility in Armenia-Azerbaijan peace efforts Open to working with Baku, Yerevan in any format
The United States is committed to collaborating with Azerbaijan and Armenia in any agreed-upon format to advance peace negotiations, according to a recent statement from the US Department of State.
This declaration comes amidst ongoing discussions about the future of the OSCE Minsk Group and its role in the peace process, Caliber.Az reports.
In response to inquiries regarding the OSCE Minsk Group's future and the US position, the State Department emphasized its readiness to support both nations.
"The US government fully backs the efforts by Armenia and Azerbaijan to achieve a lasting and honorable peace agreement. We are prepared to engage with both parties in whatever format they find mutually acceptable and where progress can be made," the statement by the State Department reads.
