Turkish defence chief welcomes Azerbaijani deputy defence minister For strategic talks

Turkish Minister of National Defence Yaşar Güler has met with Azerbaijani Deputy Defence Minister and Commander of the Air Force, a hero of the Patriotic War Major General Namig Islamzada.

The meeting took place in Ankara as part of Islamzada's official visit, which was arranged by Commander of the Turkish Air Force, Army General Ziya Cemal Kadıoğlu, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

The Turkish Ministry of National Defence shared details of the meeting on its official X account, highlighting the significance of defence cooperation between Türkiye and Azerbaijan.

The sides discussed various aspects of military collaboration and strategies to enhance bilateral relations in defence and security issues.
