Uzbek president suggests to create joint ECO tourism advisory council

Member countries of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) should more actively establish ties in many areas, tourism being one of the priorities, said Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the 16th ECO Summit in Tashkent on November 9.

According to him, this would be facilitated by the creation of a joint advisory council on tourism of the countries of the organization, Mirziyoyev stated during a speech at the summit, Report informs.

The Uzbek leader proposed creating a joint advisory council on tourism of the ECO member countries. He noted that the first meeting of this advisory council could be held in Uzbekistan.
