Pashinyan addresses critics: “Do I lick Turkish boots? Did I sell Karabakh?”
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan responded on social media to accusations from his opponents that he is “renouncing Armenian history and identity.”
“As part of the movement ‘Learning is Trendy,’ in a series of my speeches titled ‘Know How’ and ‘The Ideology of Real Armenia,’ I address and respond to all possible questions — starting from whether I lick Turkish boots, continuing with whether I sold Karabakh, whether I am renouncing our history, whether I received orders from well-known centres to ‘Turkify’ our identity, or whether I, on my own initiative and without anyone’s assignment, am renouncing and distorting our identity. And so on, and so on, and so on,” Pashinyan wrote in a Facebook post, per Caliber.Az.
Through the post, the premier invited “all users who ask such questions and express such beliefs on the internet to participate in the meetings of the ‘Learning is Trendy’ movement.”
“I am convinced you will get answers to all the questions that concern you,” the Armenian prime minister added.
