Western Azerbaijan Community urges Armenia to stop provocations
The Western Azerbaijan Community has called on the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at the US Tufts University not to hold a provocative event dedicated to “Nagorno-Karabakh” scheduled for March 29.
Yeghisheh Kirakosyan, who is Armenia’s official representative during the claims filed against Azerbaijan in international courts, is scheduled to deliver a speech at the event, the Western Azerbaijan Community told Caliber.Az.
“Kirakosyan’s participation and speech at the event promote Armenia’s encroachments on Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity at the international level. The fact that the Armenian government is filing lawsuits against Azerbaijan in international courts and is conducting propaganda at the international level is aggravating the situation in the region,” the message says.
“We urge the Armenian government to stop these provocations and focus on the issue of returning Azerbaijanis expelled from Armenia, investigate the offenses committed against them, and eliminate the consequences of these violations,” the Western Azerbaijan Community said.
