Witkoff arrives in Abu Dhabi ahead of second Ukraine peace talks

The aircraft carrying the U.S. President’s special envoy, Steve Witkoff, has landed in Abu Dhabi ahead of the second round of negotiations on a potential resolution to the conflict in Ukraine.

The talks are expected to take place in the UAE capital on February 4-5 in a tripartite format, involving representatives from Russia, the United States, and Ukraine, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.

The White House has confirmed Witkoff’s participation, alongside businessman Jared Kushner, in the upcoming round of discussions aimed at advancing diplomatic efforts on the Ukrainian settlement.

"President’s special envoy’s plane has arrived," an airport official said.
