World leaders extend birthday greetings to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has received warm and heartfelt birthday greetings from several world leaders, underscoring the strong diplomatic relations and strategic partnerships between Azerbaijan and their respective countries, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated President Aliyev, highlighting his leadership in strengthening the relationship between Azerbaijan and Russia. In his message, Putin praised Aliyev’s role in advancing Azerbaijan’s socio-economic development and his contribution to the strategic partnership between the two nations. He wrote:
"Under your leadership, friendly Azerbaijan continues to advance confidently on the path of socio-economic development, strengthening its position on the global stage. Your personal contribution to building and reinforcing the strategic partnership and alliance between our nations cannot be overestimated. I deeply value our cordial and friendly relations and look forward to continuing our close collaboration on pressing issues of the bilateral and international agenda. I sincerely wish you robust health, happiness, and prosperity."

Valentina Matviyenko, Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, also sent her best wishes, emphasizing President Aliyev’s vital role in Azerbaijan’s growth and the strengthening of Azerbaijan-Russia ties. Her message read:
"For many years, as a recognized national leader, you have guided the people of Azerbaijan on the path of progress, achieving remarkable outcomes in strengthening the nation. The Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation highly values your invaluable contribution to strengthening the strategic partnership between Russia and Azerbaijan. I am confident that, with your support, this important channel of interaction will remain an effective tool for enhancing the entire spectrum of allied bilateral relations."

Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia, also congratulated President Aliyev, highlighting the enduring strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Georgia. He wrote:
"Your contributions to the development and prosperity of the Republic of Azerbaijan are invaluable. I would like to express my gratitude for your personal contributions to strengthening the strategic partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan. I am pleased that the traditional strong friendship and strategic partnership between our countries are successfully developing in all areas. I believe that we will successfully continue our multifaceted and mutually beneficial relations for the prosperity of our countries and the region in the future."

Sadyr Zhaparov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic, expressed his admiration for President Aliyev’s leadership and Azerbaijan’s growing global influence. He noted the importance of Azerbaijan hosting the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, highlighting the event’s global significance. Zhaparov’s message read:
"Under your leadership, the Republic of Azerbaijan has become an active participant in global processes. We are particularly delighted that the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change was held for the first time in our brotherly nation. I am confident that the strategic partnership between the Kyrgyz Republic and Azerbaijan will continue to strengthen and expand for the benefit of our peoples."

Finally, Zoran Milanović, President of the Republic of Croatia, sent his congratulations, emphasizing the potential for further strengthening bilateral ties. He wrote:
"I am confident that our two friendly countries will further work to improve our overall relations and find new forms of cooperation. The economic opportunities that our two countries have can be an incentive for better and more meaningful cooperation."
