Xi dismisses congratulating Putin on Victory Day
Chinese leader Xi Jinping again did not congratulate Russian President Vladimir Putin on May 9.
According to Deutsche Welle, China did not report official congratulations for the Russian Federation on Victory Day.
There is no information on the website of the Chinese Foreign Ministry that would indicate that Xi Jinping sent a message of congratulations to Putin on May 9.
The Chinese media are also silent.
Xi's latest message to foreign colleagues on the MFA website so far is an expression of condolences to the President of Rwanda in connection with the consequences of heavy rains in the country.
It is noteworthy that such congratulations from China were not received last year either, but Beijing repeatedly congratulated Russia in previous years - before the start of the war in Ukraine.
