Xi Jinping: China and Azerbaijan are comprehensive strategic partners

In a letter sent today, Chinese President Xi Jinping expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev for his congratulatory message on the occasion of the Spring Festival.

The Chinese leader extended his warmest wishes to the people of Azerbaijan, celebrating the traditional Novruz holiday, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

In the letter, Xi emphasized the strengthening of ties between China and Azerbaijan, stating, “China and Azerbaijan are comprehensive strategic partners. In recent years, mutual political trust has been strengthened, and cooperation across all spheres has continued to develop.” 

The letter outlined a deepening relationship that covers a wide range of areas, from political to economic collaborations.

Xi also reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing the partnership between the two nations, highlighting that both sides are actively working to elevate bilateral relations to new heights.

“I attach great importance to the advancement of China–Azerbaijan relations,” he said. “I stand ready to work together with you to further enhance and elevate the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Azerbaijan to a new level, for the benefit of our peoples.”

The Chinese President concluded his message by wishing President Aliyev continued good health and prosperity, emphasizing the importance of this festive occasion in fostering closer ties between the two nations.
