FM: Armenia still fails to fully withdraw forces from Azerbaijan

Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has said that Armenia has not compltely withdrawn its armed forces from Azerbaijan.

He made the remarks during a speech at the 77th session of the UN General Assembly on September 24, Report informs.

"Armenia has not completely withdrawn its armed forces from the territory of Azerbaijan, as stipulated by the trilateral statement of November 10, [2020,] and continues various military activities on the territory of Azerbaijan, including the installation of mines," Jeyhun Bayramov stressed.

The minister noted that "recently, a large number of anti-personnel mines produced in Armenia in 2021 have been discovered in the Lachin region of Azerbaijan".
