Turkish President Erdoğan honors fallen heroes of Karabakh’s liberation

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has honored the memory of Azerbaijani servicemen who died fighting for the liberation of Karabakh from occupation in a message posted on his X account to mark Azerbaijan’s Remembrance Day on September 27.

Dost ve kardeş Azerbaycan’ın Anım Günü vesilesiyle Karabağ’ı işgalden kurtarmak, özgürlüğüne kavuşturmak için mücadele eden kahraman şehitlerimizi rahmetle, gazilerimizi hürmetle yâd ediyorum.

“On the Remembrance Day of friendly and brotherly Azerbaijan, I remember with mercy the heroic martyrs who fought for the liberation of Karabakh from occupation and its return to freedom, and I pay tribute to the veterans with respect.

Karabakh is the territory of Azerbaijan and will remain so forever,” the post said.
