World Bank to allocate another $1.7 billion to Ukraine by late 2022

World Bank Vice President for Europe and Central Asia Anna Bjerde spoke about plans to allocate another $1.7 billion to Ukraine by the end of 2022.
“Until the end of 2022, we will allocate another $1.7 billion,” she said, Ukrinform reports.
Bjerde also said that over 50 per cent of all economic assistance sent to Ukraine after the start of the military special operation passed through the World Bank.
Earlier, the head of the WB, David Malpass, said that the projected costs for the restoration of Ukraine are growing to critical levels.
