Poland provides roughly $2 billion military aid to Ukraine
President Andrzej Duda has said the total amount of Poland's military support to Ukraine is about $2 billion.
He made the remarks at a joint press conference with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, according to TASS.
According to the Polish leader, they agreed with the German president that "Ukraine should be supported as much as possible."
"It is necessary to support Ukraine in a military sense. Poland provides this possibility of military support including by providing its territory for the implementation of this support. We ourselves have sent huge support to Ukraine by our standards. We estimate it at about $2 billion. This is a very large amount for us," Duda said.
"We support Ukraine all the time. We are glad to hear that the armaments produced in Poland pay off and help Ukrainian soldiers," he added.
