The Norwegian Air Force has made a significant move by deploying F-35A fighter jets on highways, setting a precedent in Europe.

He emphasized the importance of dispersal as a concept, highlighting that by utilizing small airfields and now motorways, the Air Force can enhance its survivability in times of war. This approach is crucial because stationary fighter jets at conventional airbases are vulnerable to ground attacks, and dispersing them across various locations increases their resilience.
