Senegal, Cote d'Ivoire not sending troops for intervention in Niger, media says

Senegal and Côte d'Ivoire have not sent troops to Benin for possible participation in an intervention in Niger.

According to RFI radio station, citing sources, both countries conducted reconnaissance missions in Benin, but troops from neither side have since arrived in Cotonou. The number of participants in the operational headquarters in Benin is also limited.

According to officers, they are still waiting for orders from politicians.
