Alibaba Group partners with Azerbaijan to promote "Made in Azerbaijan" products

A significant development has emerged as Baku signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Export & Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) and the renowned Chinese e-commerce giant, Alibaba Group.

The MoU, inked by AZPROMO's executive director Yusif Abdullayev and Alibaba Group's Tim Song from the Global Strategic Partnership Department, signifies a strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Alibaba Group, Report informs.

The signing took place during a seminar held in Baku, which saw the participation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

This collaboration aims to facilitate the introduction of Azerbaijani products, branded under "Made in Azerbaijan," to new export markets.

Through this partnership, Azerbaijani businesses will gain access to Alibaba's extensive e-commerce platform, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their products to a global audience.

The MoU reflects both parties' commitment to fostering economic growth and promoting Azerbaijani goods on the international stage.
