Organising Committee member hails resources involved for excellent hosting of COP29

Member of the COP29 Organizing Committee Gulshan Akhundov has hailed all possible resources involved for excellent organisation of COP29 in Azerbaijan.

“To organize COP29 at a high level, which will be held in Baku, the Organising Committee, set up under the Order of President Ilham Aliyev, is combining efforts by attracting all possible resources, and is working in an intense working mode,” Akhundova said at the 3rd International Conference on Experiential Learning held at the European Azerbaijan School, APA reports.

The Organizing Committee member underlined the importance of holding COP29 in Azerbaijan both for the country and the whole world.

"COP29 will be one of the major international events to be held in Azerbaijan. This event will draw global attention to Azerbaijan and demonstrate its commitment to the principles of sustainable development. It will be an opportunity for the country to demonstrate its commitment to fighting climate change and attract investment in green technologies," she noted.
