The 2026 Annual Autumn Conference of the European Young Bar Association (EYBA) will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan was represented at the event by Yunis Nasibov, Co-Chair of the Young Lawyers Committee and the official representative of the Azerbaijani Bar Association to the EYBA.
During the conference, elections were also held for the EYBA presidency and members of the Executive Committee. Yunis Nasibov was elected as a member of the EYBA Executive Committee.
The European Young Bar Association, established to foster networking and professional development among young lawyers across Europe, hosts annual conferences to discuss legal trends, share expertise, and strengthen cross-border collaboration.
The Azerbaijani Bar Association, established in 1999, regulates the country’s legal profession, with over 2,000 registered advocates by 2025, per the Ministry of Justice. It is a non-governmental, independent, self-regulating organisation including all lawyers. It seeks to protect the rights and freedoms of every person, protected by law, to provide them with professional, high quality, honest legal assistance, and to enhance the prestige of the legal profession.
The Young Lawyers Committee, co-chaired by Yunis Nasibov, promotes professional development and international engagement, aligning with Azerbaijan’s broader push for modernization and global integration.
