Azerbaijan releases two Turkish citizens under presidential pardon PHOTO

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree pardoning 20 convicted persons, including two Turkish citizens.

The two Turkish citizens, covered by the decree, Demir Mehmet and Ozdemir Salih, had been serving their sentences at the Mixed-Regime Correctional Institution of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Caliber.Az reports via state media.

The decree was implemented immediately, and the two Turkish citizens were released from custody on September 23.
