COP29, WHO forge partnership to embed health in global climate plans
Mukhtar Babayev, President of COP29, recently held a discussion with Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO), focusing on the pivotal role of healthcare within the broader climate agenda.
According to an official statement posted on COP29’s official X account, the dialogue underscored the critical intersection between public health and climate action, Caliber.Az reports.
The sides emphasized the necessity of integrating healthcare strategies into climate policies to effectively address the health impacts of environmental changes.
