WHO chief highlights Azerbaijan team’s work on health for all
World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has highlighted the work of the organisation’s Azerbaijan team, praising its progress towards achieving “Health for All.”
In a post on X, Tedros said he met with WHO colleagues in Azerbaijan last Friday, on September 11, coinciding with the Ethiopian New Year, and discussed the team’s progress, ideas, challenges and opportunities facing the organisation, Caliber.Az reports.

He said meeting WHO colleagues around the world was one of the aspects of his work he enjoyed most, particularly the opportunity to listen to their experiences and learn from their ideas.
Tedros also thanked the WHO Azerbaijan team for its warm welcome and praised its dedication to the organisation’s work.
