Georgian bloggers, journalists visit Azerbaijani city of Ganja
A group of Georgian bloggers and journalists has begun a visit to Ganja, where they toured the Ganja Memorial Complex.
They were briefed on the history of the complex, which was established in January 2022 in memory of the victims of missile strikes during the Second Karabakh War, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
The guests were told that Ganja, located 80 kilometres from the frontline, came under missile attacks by the Armenian armed forces on October 4, 5, 8, 11 and 17, 2020.
As a result, 26 civilians, including six children, were killed, while another 142 people were injured.
The Georgian journalists and bloggers then visited Khan Baghi and the Museum of the Republic and toured the city centre.
Prior to Ganja, the guests visited Aghdam, Shusha and Khankandi as part of their trip.
