A joint prayer at the Heydar Mosque in Baku, Azerbaijan, has brought together a delegation of around 50 Azerbaijani religious figures working in Türkiye, Georgia and Iraq.
The guests were first briefed on the history of the mosque during their visit, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Following the tour, the guests performed a unity prayer.
Officials said around 7,000 people can pray at the mosque simultaneously.
The visit of the religious figures to Azerbaijan was organised by the Foundation for the Promotion of Moral Values under the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations as part of the “Path of Victory” project.
On the second day of their visit, the delegation will travel to Azerbaijan’s liberated territories.
