A delegation of around 50 Azerbaijani religious figures based in Türkiye, Georgia, and Iraq has visited Victory Park in Baku as part of a visit to Azerbaijan.
The delegation members were briefed on the park’s history, significance, and symbolic importance, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The visit was organized by the Moral Values Promotion Foundation, operating under the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations, as part of the "Path of Victory: Following the Traces of Victory" project.
The initiative seeks to preserve Azerbaijan’s national and moral values, strengthen ties between Azerbaijanis living abroad and their historical homeland, and promote awareness of the country’s realities among the international community.
As part of the first stage of the program, the delegation also visited the Alley of Honor, the Alley of Martyrs, the Turkish Martyrs Memorial, and the Bibi-Heybat Mosque complex.
