Azerbaijan reopens air bridge with Israel as AZAL resumes Tel Aviv flights
Azerbaijan's national carrier, AZAL (Azerbaijan Airlines), will resume regular passenger flights on the Baku–Tel Aviv–Baku route starting Saturday, June 28, 2025.
According to a statement from the airline’s press service, cited by Caliber.Az, the decision to reinstate flights follows a period of suspension prompted by heightened tensions in the Middle East and the temporary closure of regional airspace by several countries.
With the regional situation now stabilised, AZAL is restoring service to ensure the safe and reliable operation of air travel between Azerbaijan and Israel.
Tickets for the resumed route are available through the airline’s official website (www.azal.az), via the AZAL mobile app, at AZAL ticket offices, and through authorised travel agencies.
