Azerbaijan conducts mine safety trainings for farmers
The Ministry of Agriculture together with the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) is conducting mine safety training for representatives of farms that intend to move to pastures in the liberated territories.
More than 4,500 farmers are expected to take part in them, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Agriculture.
The trainings will be held in Yevlakh district (April 16-19), Ganja (April 22-25) and Sumgayit (April 16).
During the trainings, ANAMA specialists will provide detailed information on the rules of behaviour in the accommodation points in the liberated territories, identification of unexploded ordnance and mines, the dangers of mines and explosive devices, injuries they can cause, as well as the rules of behaviour in unfamiliar areas.
After the training, owners will be able to move their farms to the liberated territories to continue their activities there.
