Ukraine elects new ombudsman

Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada (parliament) has elected Dmytro Lubinets new commissioner for human rights (Ombudsman).
Some 250 MPs supported his candidacy, according to RBC-Ukraine.
Lubinets is currently a member of the “For the Future” faction.
