Ambassador: Türkiye working on broadening and strengthening cooperation with Azerbaijan

The Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Jahit Bagci, recently spoke with Turkish students and members of martyrs and veterans' families at an iftar event (evening meal during the fasting month of Ramadan - ed.), per Report.

During his speech, he discussed Türkiye's efforts to expand and strengthen cooperation with Azerbaijan under the Shusha Declaration. This includes a focus on areas such as security, trade, logistics, and energy.

He said that in the new era, Türkiye's priorities are centred on developing strategic relations, strengthening economic and trade ties, ensuring energy security, and improving inter-land communications.

The diplomat also highlighted the importance of effectively protecting the rights and interests of Turkish citizens abroad and ensuring their adaptation in the countries where they reside.
