Azerbaijani ambassador highlights enhanced cooperation with US Ahead of COP29

Azerbaijani Ambassador to the United States, Khazar Ibrahim, has emphasized the productive collaboration between the US and Azerbaijan in the lead-up to COP29.

He noted that this partnership is being fostered at both technical and political levels, with daily discussions taking place to advance shared goals, Caliber.Az reports.

Ambassador Ibrahim expressed appreciation for the "very positive approach" of the American side regarding COP29, attributing this to Azerbaijan's proactive leadership in climate initiatives.

"The US recognizes Azerbaijan as a very active and consistent partner," he said, underscoring the importance of Azerbaijan's initiatives and commitment to the climate agenda.

Ibrahim further highlighted Azerbaijan's pivotal role in organizing COP29, asserting that the country’s efforts in bringing together participants contribute significantly to achieving meaningful outcomes for global climate action.
