Azerbaijan showcases luxury tourism potential in Moscow PHOTO
Azerbaijan Tourism Board has highlighted the country's luxury tourism offerings during the Luxury Travel Mart (LTM) Moscow Autumn held on September 26-27.
The State Tourism Agency reported that the primary objective of Azerbaijan's participation was to position the nation as a premier luxury tourism destination on the global stage, while also seeking to forge new partnerships and enhance promotional efforts, Caliber.Az reports.
During the event, B2B meetings with prominent Russian tour operators and agencies specializing in luxury travel showcased Azerbaijan's diverse tourism assets, including ski resorts, guided excursions in Baku, health and wellness centers, and various luxury tourism products.
Notably, statistics reveal that from January to August 2024, Azerbaijan welcomed 501,417 visitors from Russia, reflecting an impressive increase of over 18 per cent compared to the same period in 2023.
