Azerbaijani Defence Minister expresses condolences to Turkish side

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defence, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov expressed condolences to the Minister of National Defense of Türkiye, Yashar Güler.

"I am deeply saddened by the news of the death and injury of glorious Turkish Army's servicemen as a result of attack by members of terrorist organisation in the area of Pençe-Kilit (Claw-Lock) counter-terrorism operations on January 12.

Your grief is our grief too.

We always stand by the Armed Forces of fraternal Türkiye and we support you with all our strength.

I pray to Almighty Allah for the repose of the souls of the heroic Turkish soldiers, who became martyrs, share the sorrow and grief of their relatives, and express my deep condolences to their families. I wish a speedy recovery to all the wounded.

May Allah rest the souls of martyrs in peace," Minister Hasanov said in his message of condolences, Caliber.Az reports.
