Kazakhstan’s defence chief commends success of multinational exercise “Eternal Brotherhood-III”
Kazakh Defense Minister Ruslan Zhaksylykov extended his congratulations to the participants of the multinational exercise “Eternal Brotherhood - III” for the successful completion of their operations.
While observing the active phase of the exercise, which included military personnel from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Türkiye, Pakistan, Qatar, and Uzbekistan, the minister highlighted the importance of unity in the face of rising terrorist threats, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
“We are combining our efforts to enhance military security. During the exercise, we practised the protocols for command bodies and subordinate units in crisis situations. The joint operation demonstrated the readiness of our military contingents to work together effectively and coherently,” he emphasized.
Following the exercise, several distinguished soldiers were recognized for their exceptional performance. A total of over four hundred servicemen participated in the military manoeuvres.
The opening ceremony for “Borderless Brotherhood-III” took place on September 10 at the Orda training range in Turkestan Oblast, Kazakhstan. Special forces from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Türkiye, Pakistan, Qatar, and Uzbekistan took part, with Jordan and Kyrgyzstan attending as observers.
The exercise aimed to improve operational coordination among command structures and units, enhance the practical skills and professionalism of the personnel, and facilitate the exchange of experiences. Activities included tactical operations, firearms training, parachuting, and sniper drills, as well as missions focused on identifying and neutralizing illegal armed groups in urban environments. Approximately 300 special forces personnel participated, utilizing armoured vehicles, aircraft, and drones throughout the exercises.
