Azerbaijan's international influence grows with upcoming COP29 Prime Minister Asadov says

During a discussion on the draft state and consolidated budgets, Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Ali Asadov emphasized that hosting COP29 in in the country this November is a testament to the country’s rising international standing.

Asadov expressed confidence that the event will be executed to the highest standards, reflecting Azerbaijan's capabilities, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

He highlighted that many government officials are part of the Organising Committee and stressed the importance of collaboration among ministries to ensure the success of the event.

"All members of the government are personally responsible for fulfilling the tasks assigned to their respective ministries and structures. They should work closely and harmoniously," he stated.
