Azerbaijan, OSCE review regional security and peace process

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioğlu on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

The sides discussed issues on the OSCE agenda, Azerbaijan-OSCE cooperation, the current European security architecture and regional peace dynamics in the South Caucasus, Caliber.Az reports via the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

Bayramov briefed Sinirlioğlu on progress in the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process, stressing that the formal closure of the OSCE Minsk Process and its related structures represents a critical step towards finalising the post-conflict agenda and aligning institutional frameworks with regional realities.

The ministers also exchanged views on key developments in international security.
