Azerbaijan’s Defence Ministry leadership has observed training activities as part of the joint Power of Unity – 2026 military exercises involving servicemen from three countries.

The ministry said the leadership was first briefed at the joint headquarters on command decisions related to planning and conducting joint operations.

Defence Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov was then briefed at a field hospital that the mobile facility was fully ready to receive patients and wounded personnel. The hospital is equipped to provide second-level medical care in line with NATO standards, the ministry said.

The ministry leadership also inspected accommodation and catering facilities for the exercise participants and was briefed on the conditions provided for servicemen.

Hasanov later visited the area where the joint operations are being conducted, observed training sessions and issued instructions to the exercise leadership.
