FM Bayramov highlights Azerbaijan’s leadership in advancing trans-regional connectivity

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has highlighted the country’s leadership in advancing trans-regional connectivity, the green energy transition, economic transformation and climate action.

Bayramov made the remarks in a post on X following his address to the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

“Pleased to address the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly on the margins of UNGA81 in New York,” Bayramov said.

He noted that he had briefed the Assembly on the de facto peace in the region and Azerbaijan’s ongoing post-conflict rehabilitation process following the Washington Peace Summit.

Bayramov also highlighted Azerbaijan’s active contribution to global development and multilateral reforms.

“We remain committed to a multilateral system that produces real-world results, ensures regional stability, and drives sustainable growth,” he added.
