Azerbaijani Defence Ministry refutes Armenia's ceasefire breach allegations
The Azerbaijani Defence Ministry has refuted Armenia’s alleged ceasefire breach allegations.
The information released by the opposing party that Azerbaijani army units purportedly shelled Armenian armed forces positions in the vicinity of Yukhari Shorzha village around 03:40 on September 13 does not correspond to reality, the ministry said in a statement, Caliber.Az reports.
"We categorically refute this information spread by the Armenian Defense Ministry," the ministry added.
In the same vein, the ministry previously denied the Armenian side's information concerning the claimed bombardment of Armenian armed forces units by the Azerbaijani army on September 12 at roughly 20:30, stating that it "does not correspond to reality."
The statement came from the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry in response to the report by the Armenian side about the Azerbaijani military's targeting the Armenian positions located in the direction of the village of Kilsekend in the Gafan district on the interstate border.
“We categorically refute the information disseminated by the Armenian Ministry of Defense,” Caliber.Az quotes the ministry as saying.
