Azerbaijani Red Crescent Society VP hopes food cargo to be delivered to Garabagh Armenians
Azerbaijani Red Crescent Society Vice President Gafar Asgarzada said that the society hopes its mission will receive a proper assessment.
"We hope that our benevolent step, our humanitarian mission will receive proper assessment and soon the food load we brought will be delivered to these people," the vice-president told Report.
"The purpose of our benevolent step is to deliver food assistance, in particular 40 tons of flour, to the residents of Armenian origin living in Garabagh. The leadership of the Society conducted appropriate negotiations with the command of the Russian peacekeepers temporarily deployed in Azerbaijan. However, there is no positive answer yet. We hope that our benevolent step, our humanitarian mission will receive proper assessment and the food load we brought will be delivered to these people soon," he said.
