Ethnic Armenians keep living freely in Azerbaijan’s Karabakh ICRC video refutes Armenian claims
Contrary to false and unfounded claims by Armenia and powerful pro-Armenian lobby groups worldwide, just a single video clip by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) debunks allegations unpardonably exploited by Armenia's paid supporters to serve and justify Yerevan’s occupying policies, and blackmail Azerbaijan for regaining the lands that remained under nearly 30-year-long occupation.
Baku ended Yerevan's aggression once and for all following the October 19-20 anti-terrorist measures and regained full control over the lands Armenians had seized when the Soviet empire collapsed and retained under control by plundering natural resources and turning the region into a den of thieves under the guise of “Artsakh”.
The ICRC video clip in question once again proves that ethnic Armenians of Karabakh were not forced out of the region in the wake of Azerbaijan’s justified anti-terror measures but they made their choices voluntarily, spurning Baku’s proposal to adopt Azerbaijani citizenship.
Actually, coming back to the video clip, it shows several employees of the ICRC going door to door and contacting ethnic Armenians who remain in their homes to render assistance. Further, the video shows several ICRC employees talking to residents of Gizilgaya village, naming them junior and senior Khazaryans.
Agaron Khazaryan is shown saying with a voice-over that he and old-aged father remain in the village and he did not want to abandon the village as his mother had died and was buried there. “He is very frail and if tell him to go to Yerevan, he would die on his way to the destination,” he said.

Further, the video clip shows ICRC’s Chris Paul saying the area is full of small houses and villages and their priority is to seek and find elderly people as soon as possible to provide them with the much-needed aid.
“We have information that people remain here for the family and other reasons here. Some want to leave, some want to stay and they need food and medicine. We guess the majority of them are elderly and many of them are in need of medical assistance,” Paul says.
Further down, the video clip shows an ICRC employee speaking to an Armenian woman asking whether or not they go around freely without any obstacles to which she nods her approval.
Further down the line, the video clip shows an empty Khankendi street, adding that after Azerbaijan’s one-day-long anti-terror measures, the separatist regime decided to self-dissolution and consequently, despite Azerbaijan’s best efforts and practical measures, they have decided to leave the region on their own will.
To recap, the Azerbaijan government stands ready to accept back ethnic Armenians to the region once they decide to renounce their Armenian citizenship and become citizens of Azerbaijan.
In the same vein, ANS video shows an Armenian man, alias Misha, in Khankendi saying he is a native of the city and both Azerbaijanis and Russian peace-keepers properly treat him in the area.
Further, he adds that the land belongs to Azerbaijan as the real owners of Karabakh and they are now in control of the land, blaming Armenians for looting shops in Khankendi and vandalizing around.
