EU lifts all flight restrictions from Kazakhstan

The European Union has officially lifted all flight safety restrictions previously imposed on Kazakhstan,  the Ministry of Transport's press service told RBC.

This decision came after a meeting of the European Commission's Flight Safety Committee with representatives from 27 EU countries, where the Kazakh delegation outlined measures taken to address previous concerns.

The European Commission commended Kazakhstan for significant improvements in certification systems, control, and supervision in flight operations, airworthiness maintenance, and aviation personnel training and licensing.

In 2022, there was a looming risk of Kazakh airlines being blacklisted by the European Commission.
