Türkiye, Finland sign defence industry cooperation agreement
Türkiye and Finland have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation in the defence industry sector.
The agreement seeks to deepen collaboration between the two NATO members on military industrial development and resource policy, Caliber.Az reports, citing Turkish defence news outlet on X.

The statement from Türkiye’s Presidency of Defence Industries confirmed that its president, Haluk Görgün, signed the MoU alongside Finland's Director General for Resource Policy and National Armaments Director Olli Ruutu.
"The Memorandum of Understanding on Defence Industry Cooperation will contribute to the development of defence ties between Finland and our country," the Turkish side stated.
Officials emphasised that the agreement will not only benefit Türkiye and Finland but also serve the broader interests of NATO allies.
