Armenian prime minister appoints new police chief PHOTO

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has made a decision to appoint former Governor of Armenia’s Lori region, Aram Ghazaryan, Chief of Police and Deputy Interior Minister of the country.
“By the decision of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on June 3, Aram Ghazaryan was appointed Chief of Police and Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs,” the Ministry’s press service said in a statement, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
On June 2, Ghazaryan left his post as governor. His predecessor as chief of police, Aram Ovannisyan, was dismissed on the same day.
