EU to limit access of Russian oil tankers in 14th sanctions package
In its 14th package of sanctions against Russia, the European Union will restrict the access of Russian oil tankers, referred to in the West as Russia's "shadow fleet," to European ports and services.
Caliber.Az reports that acting Dutch Foreign Minister Hanke Bruins Slot announced the measures on her social media platform X.
I welcome today’s agreement on the 14th EU #sanctions package against Russia. This package contains several important measures that the Netherlands strongly advocated for, including the firm tackling and sanctioning of the Russian #shadowfleet. 1/2 pic.twitter.com/GzAExl9YwU
